I should have posted this yesterday -- I was too tired, and had much to accomplish!  But here's the scoop.  Yesterday morning, the doctors came in and said that since Kyle hadn't had a fever in 24 hours we could go home.  That was 9:30 a.m.   We finally left the hospital at 5:30 p.m. -- Ooooohhhhh, the wheels turn slow!  But we came home with a multi-viatmin, calcium, vitamin D -- and pain meds in case he needs it. 

We left the hospital in a deluge!  The clouds were low and heavy, and it was beginning to get dark, and it was raining cats and "Dawgs"!    We left the hospital, and to get to the bridge and head for home, we had to pass the University of Washington, where they Huskies were playing a home game.  Buses lined the street on both sides, so traffic was down to one lane.  And since kickoff was at 4 p.m., we knew that the game wasn't over, but there were so many people leaving -- because of the weather -- that for a minute we thought the game was over!  But as we passed the stadium, we could see lots of die-hard fans still in the stands, and could hear the cheering!  So glad we got past there before the game was actually over!  I'd tell you who they played and what the score was -- but I don't know, and I didn't care enough to find out -- BUT THE UTES BEAT AIR FORCE -- 28 - 23!!!!  And really that's all that matters right?

So, we are home, it feels good -- and we are now just watching for fevers, and signs of paleness.  We will be followed in the Hematology/Oncology Clinic at Children's once a week, and they will do periodic bone marrow biopsies, watching to see if his marrow changes and begins making leukemia cells.  Until then we watch and wait!
