Sometimes you need a Boost!

Most of you know that Kyle has a very limited diet -- by his choice.  Over the years we have taken him to see doctors and nutritionists, with no success in changing his desire to eat different foods.  His blood tests have always been good, but with this new diagnosis, his lousy diet, and the now deficiencies in calcium and vitamin D require protein, that he's not getting.  How to get him to eat protein is the major question.  So, Kathy (the nutritionist) and I came up with this plan -- I will give him Boost -- everyday, as a "medicine".

Three flavors of Boost -- Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry -- Given with a 60 ml syringe.  If you are wondering how that converts to teaspoons....it equals 12 teaspoons (2 oz.) per syringe.  The syringe is huge!  But it gets the job done.
This is a bit blurry....but you can see the size in relation to the bottle of Boost.

In other -- non-related news -- Jon has been having a terrible toothache.  He broke down and saw a dentist today.....after about 6 years!  The dentist looked at his teeth and told him he was amazed because Jon such healthy teeth, he could be a teenager (just looking at his teeth -- don't look at the hair...)!  There'll be no living with him now!
