Kyle is in the building....

Yes....Kyle now attends Redmond High School -- but while he's been out recovering from his surgery, Ms. D, who was his Jr. High teacher, has been his tutor.  She comes twice a week for 2 hours.  He adores her, and the feeling is mutual.  Ms. D asked if Kyle could come and visit in her classroom.  Kyle still rides the bus with many of the kids at the Jr. High, and those at the High school.  Today we made a visit, and it still amazes me the number of people who come out of the classrooms to greet him.  All three security officers, teachers, secretaries, and the students in his class.  He was so happy to see them!  The aides made French fries for all of the kids to snack on, and Mr. Jenson, one of the security officers, had a gift bag for Kyle.   It was filled with a movie, toy and McDonalds money.....

Here are the photo's of our visit.

Giving Mr. Jenson a nice "pound & explosion"!

After this visit, we visited at the High school too.  Although he's only attended there for two weeks -- he had a similar reception there!  I think he's going to be happy to get back to school -- he'll be heading back after Thanksgiving!

It just never ceases to amaze me, that without words, this kid has a powerful influence and people are just drawn to him!  I am so thankful for him, for his life, for his example, for his faith.  I'm thankful for the people that have come in to my life because of him.  I am thankful he is doing better, thankful for the school system, the people who care, those who watch out for him, and who look forward to his presence in their lives!
