Happy Birthday Derek!
Each time one of my boys has a birthday, I reflect on the experience (from my perspective). This, the oldest of my boys, he's pretty special. He tries very hard to hide a compassionate heart and soft touch. He has a quirky sense of humor -- that some people just aren't bright enough to "get". This boy of mine is my friend, my protector and an all-around good man! And don't let him try to tell you different!
