Gilbert Temple

 

We live about 15 minutes from the Gilbert Temple.

We took this picture as we were driving by -- before the Open House started.

Lunar Golf

One day we ran an errand at the mall and found this dark mini-golf course inside....it was all black light and so we had to play a round. 

18 holes!

I don't think we had even one hole that we got in less than 5 swings....so we stopped keeping score and just had fun.

 

!!McDonalds!!

Yes -- we have a McDonalds only a half-mile from the house.

We tell Kyle -- if you don't go to school,

you don't get fries.

He's having some trouble adjusting to a new place,

new teachers, less community involvement, and so we

have resorted to bribes.

 

Miss having therapy with Laura and Susan every Wednesday -- so I go anyway and get my Diet Coke.

 

Fire Station

We found a Fire Station that welcomed us with open arms....they were so excited that we stopped by and Kyle was sooooo excited to find a fire station!

Dexter and the Pool

Dexter is getting more comfortable with the pool.

He would put two feet in, but was afraid to put all four feet in and step down...probably some sort of depth perception issue.  But he has figured it out....at least to the second step...he won't go all the way in....  He is fascinated with the boat and Kyle loves to race the boat toward him and watch him jump out of the pool and then cautiously get back in.

 

Fire Pit

We found a fire pit and this was our first fire.

We roasted dogs and ate s'mores

Sunny burning her marshmallow.  She likes them to be burned.

Love having a fire pit.
