New Year's Eve

Derek left on December 27th and drove to Gunnison, Utah where he spent the weekend with Jake and Ashlyn and Mark and Jodi.

Fireworks!

Kyle started out sitting on the driveway to watch the fireworks.

...then he retreated to the garage....

...and then he went inside and watched out the window.

After the fireworks, we went to "the shop" where Dave and Gayle (Tisha's parents) had invited us to a bonfire and fireworks at their shop.

They have some amazing restored cars!

Also a slot machine with nickels to put in....oh yeah, he had fun.  He's been wanting to get his hands on one of these for awhile now!  Thanks Dave for letting him play.

We had a great time....stayed for awhile and then we came home and watched the festivities from Times Square!
