In the Interim

Christmas!

 

We got here -- we had nothing in the house,

so we made a trip to Costco,

got a rug for the front room.

Target and got a Christmas tree

and Christmas lights.

 

We talked about not putting up outside lights,

but Jon just couldn't stand it and so we got lights and put up a few!

Then we were happy.

You can't really see the wreaths....but there were wreaths around each light on the garage and green light, red light, green light....

Decorating the tree...

...we put a box of candy canes on the tree for decorations.

Simple...but sufficient.

Even after our things got here, we didn't add decorations...we left it simple.

 

In our empty house -- we had a Christmas tree and a rug.

We slept on the floor.

We could have gone to a hotel -- but we wanted to be in our house.
