4th of July

The 4th of July

We went to the park with Scott, Sunny and her nephew, Anthony.

Then we had a great barbque at the Skinner's!

Kyle and Hilary -- we love Hilary!

All the gang at the barbque.

We watched fireworks on TV -- and it was great!  Just kind of a quiet, wonderful day.  So thankful for our freedom!

Derek...
...enjoyed the festivities in Gunnison on Saturday, and then he went back to Logan to work, so Barry could go take photo's of the Magna parade for me.

Magna

Dad was the Grand Marshall of the Magna 4th of July Parade

The day started out great.  The parade started at the Magna Stake Center on 8400 West and 3100 South.  Headed West for one block, turned right and went North past Brockbank Jr. High, to 2700 South, made a left turn and headed West to 9000 West where it ends.

Then it rained on his parade -- literally!

The parade passed ALL the historic sites of downtown Magna!

Almost at the end of the parade route.
