Owen came to visit!!
He brought his Dad and Mom
(Jake & Ashlyn)
with him!
They got to stay for a week!
We loved it and had a blast!
Now I must say that some of the photo's you see,
will be the same ones you've seen
whenever ANYONE visits.
When we lived in Kirkland, we had our favorite places to take people,
Pike Place Market, waterfront, Ballard Locks, Seattle Center,
riding the ferry, Mukilteo Lighthouse, Tulip fields....
we loved it all.
Here in Arizona, we have discovered a couple of places in the few months we've been here.
Goldfield Ghost Town, is one.
Both the Mesa and Gilbert LDS Temples, which are both close,
and of course, food ~ Daily Bread Bistro.
I'm sure we will discover more places to see and other things to do, but for now, these are the things you will see over and over.
For me -- they don't get old.

"The Kids" went on the mine tour -- while I went to look in the
shops, Jon (who hadn't slept) sat on a bench watching Owen and Kyle.
We had lunch at the Miner's Grill...
...they have the most AMAZING

This young man, came to the grill area....and Kyle went crazy. We thought it was his baseball gear....but then decided he must know him....Kyle went up to him and he said, "Kyle!" And they started talking to each other. Cole is in Kyle's class at school. They had a good visit.

All four of them rode the zip-line....but I don't have pictures, because Jon was soooo tired, I took him and Owen home to have naps and they stayed to finish exploring the town and to ride the zip-line.
I think everyone had a good time.

The day we went to the zoo, was
Ashlyn and Jake's Anniversary!
We figured it out -- for one reason or another --
we have been with them 4 out of the last 5 years on their anniversary!
Maybe we should get a life and leave them alone in May...
....but we've had fun everytime!
