New Year

2015 A Brave New Year

 

It was so cold over New Year's!

We got snow.

Well -- about half an hour from us there was snow.

 

We were so happy to have Craig and Holly here for New Year's.

It's too bad that we weren't really warm. 

Holly checked the temps at home and we were only 2 degrees warmer than Palmer, Alaska!!

It was cold the entire time they were here.

 

 

 

On New Year's Eve,

we had lots of food, played games and even in the rain, did fireworks in the backyard.

 

 

 

New Year's Day

Kurt, Cynthia and Ax stopped in for dinner and a short visit.

 

Kurt braved the 45 degree water in the pool.

CRAZY man!

He also made a second trip into the pool when he went down the slide.

 

We had a good visit with everyone.

We love visitors!

 

 

 

Animals/Pets

These two men ~ both told me they don't like animals!

See how much they don't like animals??

Never thought I'd see the day!

Not only that we have a dog ~ but also, that said dog would be sleeping with the man on the couch!

When Charlie can't find Jon,

this is where you'll find Charlie...

...curled up on Jon's slippers.

 

 

Charlie Meets Dexter

Charlie went crazy when he saw Dexter!

Dexter was patient....

...until he'd had enough and then he just put his paw over top of Charlie.

Hero worship....

Size difference....crazy!

 

Both good dogs ~ but I love that Charlie doesn't shed and that he's a little smaller than Dexter.

Love Dexter, but liking the smaller pup.
