It's amazing to me how we learn to cope with things that come our way -- we learn to change and grow and do things in a new and different way to achieve the same end...This was evident to me in a very vivid way this morning.
We had a skiff of snow over night -- school was delayed by 2 hours. When it was time for Kyle to go out to the bus, he looked out the front door and said, "Snow -- dang it." then he looked at me and said, "Garage." You see, there was snow on all of the front steps and down the driveway. By going through the garage he eliminated the steps -- and most of the snow on the driveway. Our driveway is lined with trees and the trees protected the driveway from the snow. So he stepped maybe two steps where he actually came in contact with the snow. His objective -- boarding the bus -- was achieved WITHOUT the discomfort of walking on snow....
Coping. Do it anyway you can, with the least effort, to achieve the BEST results!
