On Saturday, 21 February 2009, we went to
"Build-A-Bear" to, well -- build a bear -- for a gift. We picked out the bear and Kyle helped fill it with stuffing and then we chose an outfit. Kyle didn't like our choice and tried to give us a Mariner's t-shirt for the bear....(I'm holding the one we made).

So, Jon, being the soft-hearted guy he is, told Kyle to go choose his own bear. Kyle choose a dog, and a Fireman outfit for his dog. He would not be dissuaded. He stood in line holding the fireman outfit and boots, an
d the limp and lifeless little dog.
After the dog -- who Kyle named "Jimmy" after one of his best dog-friends -- Reggie -- was stuffed they moved to the "grooming station". Where Jon, very sweetly and kindly helped dress the dog in his fireman outfit.

Once Jimmy was dressed, we proceeded to the check-out counter where Kyle saw a Mariners baseball outfit and had to have that.....he would not change his mind on the fireman, until he saw the full-and-authentic Mariners uniform. So we changed the dog and Jon and Kyle went to make "birth certificates" for the bear and dog. I got to pay the bill.
This is Jimmy --
This morning (Sunday), Kyle woke up and said, "Good morning Jimmy" and gave the dog a hug and then he said, "'Mon, Church." Which meant -- "C'mon, time to go to Church." He put the dog in the car and buckled him in, and went to Church. All in all a good investment and a fun afternoon.
