A Day in the Life....

....okay, just an afternoon in the life...

 

I picked Kyle up from school to go to the dentist.

We stopped at Circle K to put gas in the car.

And look who Kyle found....

A Sheriff's deputy, who is also a pilot for the Sheriff's office!

How cool is that????

 

Then we went to the dentist.

This is Cynthia.  She took some surround

x-rays, which Kyle actually stood for....

More traditional x-rays were attempted, but it was

a no go!

This is a pic of the surround x-rays...

...this is the first time such an extensive x-ray was successfully obtained.

They have been attempted, but have not been successful.

VICTORY!!

He even let her try to clean his teeth.

Not very thoroughly, but it was attempted and

partially successful.

Dr. Hill even got a smile out of Kyle.

All in all ~ it was a good and positive visit.

 

And THEN...

....he spied a fire station ~ which we didn't know was there...

so we stopped to visit.

This is the nice Firefighter Pifer,

who, met us at the door and said,

"I know you!  I've seen you at Fry's.  Come in and see the truck!"

He was very nice....even brushed aside my attempted apology for being stalked while trying to shop at Fry's. 

 

He gave Kyle a plastic fire hat,

walked us to the car,

and said,

"Come back and visit us ~ anytime!"

I did mention that he might want to rescind that invitation at some point...

...but he just laughed and told Kyle to come back!

 

We meet the greatest people!

 

We stopped for fries...

and then went to speech therapy.

He got to ride the horse and dance with Kira.

 

What could be better than this afternoon?

Finding out that Kira and Kyle share a birthday!

Kyle is a year older....but same day! 

How cool is that?

Here is their dance....not his most smooth...

...but they were both laughing.
