Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving!  I love everything about it -- I love making stuffing, baking pies, setting the table, stuffing the turkey....and every other part of the preparation.  I love eating it too.

One of the best parts of Thanksgiving is being with family and friends!  Since both of our families live away from us, we have the awesome tradition of having our friends over for pie on Thanksgiving night.  It's a good thing too -- or we'd never eat all the pie.

This year, we had a special treat!  Barry and Lynn and their boys, Logan, Austin, and Brennan came and spent Thanksgiving with us!  It was so much fun!

The benefit of having 3 TV's in your family room is that some can play the x-box while another plays the Wii and still others watch a movie.....a little chaotic, maybe -- but still we are all together.

Logan -- got a photo of you.....

Brennan, Kyle and Austin -- playing the Wii

Barry -- thinking about going shopping on Black Friday -- he didn't go....

Jon -- reading the Black Friday adds -- and devising a plan....

Yes we did go out on Black Friday!  Sunny, Lynn, Jon and I went to Target at midnight.  We chose to go to the Target store in Woodinville....the line to get in, was clear around the building.....so we left and Jon insisted we go to the Target store in Redmond....when we arrived, all the people who were waiting in line, were already in the store, and some were coming out with 46 inch TV's -- 2 and three in a cart -- the deal must have been sweet.  Parking was a mess....so we let Sunny and Lynn off in front and Jon and I drove around -- trolling for a parking spot.  We ended up parking across the street at the Fred Meyer store.  By the time we walked over to Target and walked one circuit through the store, looking for Sunny and Lynn -- they had found their items and were done paying -- guess that's what happens when you "cut-in-line".....They were in and out, with their doorbusters in 20 minutes.

Then we came home and went to bed for a few hours, then got up and went with Sunny to Fred Meyer -- Lynn stayed home in bed -- and then we went back to Target....crazy!

Saturday we dropped Barry and Lynn and family at the airport -- they were going to Hawaii to visit Lynn's family!

Then we took Kyle and went to lunch and to Sears -- Jon dearly wanted to go to Sears.

Kyle -- done shopping!!!

....riding the escalator.....then home

We had a great Thanksgiving -- and we are incredibly blessed!
