Seattle Mariners -vs- Oakland A's

(the "A" stands for Athletics, Ashlyn)

It's interesting to note here -- that it was Navy Night at the Mariner's

as well as, LDS Night at the Mariners.  We got tickets for $11 and a free t-shirt.

Of course -- we were 6 rows from the top of the stadium -- but still good seats....almost right behind home plate.

And yes.....there is a player -- #55 -- named Saunders on the team roster -- he is not currently active, but he is on the roster.....we couldn't resist the shirts.....we all got one!

The commander threw out the first pitch -- it was a little wild. 

The announcer said, "That pitch was a little wild -- just like his flying."

We left after the 7th inning stretch -- but that was okay -- we'd seen all the action and all the runs that were scored....by the time we got home, the game was letting out.

One of the few wins this season -- and a fun night at the ballpark!
