Roger had his procedure at Swedish -- Cherry Hill -- Medical Center in Seattle. He and Kristy went down on the 7th and spent the night there, he had the procedure on the 8th and came home to our house on the 9th.
This is a little store/ hair salon across the street from the hospital. This area of Seattle reminded Jon and me a little bit of some areas of Chicago......and the consensus was that around and in this little store was a foul and un-appealing smell of urine! Don't shop there. Roger took this photo with his phone on December 7th.
Friday, December 10th -- we planned to "play" a little -- at least go to lunch -- got ready to go, and Roger wasn't feeling too well. His heart was out of rythm and it wouldn't convert back. After conferring with his doctor in Seattle it was determined that we'd take him over to the ER at Sweedish. Jon rushed home, but Roger was feeling really bad, and wasn't sure he'd make it over -- so we called 911, the ambulance and paramedics came, and we were hoping they'd transport him to Sweedish, but they refused because they couldn't stabilize him. So he was transported to Evergreen Hospital -- which is the closest hospital to us -- five minutes away.
Perhaps it was tacky to take pictures -- but I really restrained myself, and only took two -- neither of which was incriminating.

Roger spent 4 days in the CCU at Evergreen Hospital, was released at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 14th, we ran down to Sweedish where he saw his doctor, and was released to fly home that night!
We are so grateful that Roger and Kristy would stay with us, and while it would've been really fun to "play", we're thankful that things worked out well in the end!
