Oh, To Be a Rock Star

Oh, to be a Rock Star. If you ever want to know what that feels like.....take a trip to the Jr. High with Kyle after he's been out of school for a couple of weeks! A mighty cheer went up when he pushed his way into the classroom (he was using his walker). Everyone greeted him, he greeted them, he was loved and welcomed and, yes, fawned over!

We walked down to the cafeteria to say good-bye to Mr. R. and yet another loud and happy greeting. So many students stopped him, talked to him, asked about him, asked about his neck. He was truly missed.

Same story in the office, all the office staff came to greet him. The Vice Principal came out, and everyone gave encouraging words and "speedy return" wishes. It was amazing to watch!

So to be a Rock Star -- be Kyle!
