Kyle loves horses and Jon's co-worker, Jessie, has two! She found out that Kyle loves horses and she invited us down for the afternoon to see the horses. When we arrived at the stables we were greeted by four, big-barking-boxers! Kyle rolled down the window and said, "Hi dog." Then he got out. The dogs were very friendly and we survived meeting them.
Jessie and her husband, Dave, arrived and introduced us to their horses, Jahar and Jazz. Kyle was enthralled from the get-go.
Jazz is very talented at removing hats to look for hidden treats. Kyle thought this was very funny until Jazz tried to take his hat and then he shook his finger at him and said, "No, don't touch the hat." or he'd shake his finger and say, "uh, uh, uh" while shaking his head (to say no).

Jessie taught Kyle how to brush Jazz.

Jahar came over for a visit.

"Thumbs Up" -- riding Jafar.
I think that Dave about broke his back trying to lift the very solid, 123 lb Kyle onto Jahar. Kyle doesn't look as heavy as he is.
A couple times around and he was "all done". So he took the lead rope and "walked" the horse.
While Kyle was riding, Jon was "horse-sitting" Jazz, so he wouldn't get lonely, and it was more fun than he thought it would be -- especially when Jazz kept licking his hands.

Kyle needed one more ride, so up he went....Jon went and helped boost him this time.

We had a great afternoon and topped it off with a visit to Carl's Jr. Thanks Jessie and Dave we had a blast!
