After a white Christmas -- this is the last remaining evidence of snow in our yard. Amidst the last vestiges of fallen leaves, pine needles, and smashed grass. Rain, wind and gray skies have taken the place of the snow.
Rain is not so bad.....gray skies are do-able.....wind is not much fun.
Our poor Christmas bear has taken a hit! He's been blown off the stump several times and only bee saved from being completely blown away by the tether of the power cord.
This is half a tree that fell down (because of the wind) in the backyard. Luckily it fell into the yard and not onto the house.
We have 20 some odd trees in the backyard -- all fairly tall, with several very tall trees in the front. Every time we have a wind storm I pray that none of the trees come down on the house!
